Cystinosis Foundation UK is a unique charity which supports and raises awareness and funds for a very rare disease effecting mainly children & young adults. The aim of the rebrand was to entice people to have some fun, whilst doing some good.

We redesigned the brand as an optimistic, positive and supportive resource to help improve peoples lives, as well as encouraging fundraising to help finance more research into the disease.

Friendly illustrations.

One of the key aspects of the rebrand, was to create some graphical assets that help the brand get its message across. A friendly illustration style was created for a number of key areas such as fundraising, values, and research.

A considered strategy.

The brand strategy developed helped define the purpose and values of the charity, to encourage and strengthen their core messaging and main objectives. This was done via a range of research before deciding on positioning to lead the brand forwards.

Consistent yet flexible guidelines.

A beautiful hardback book for all the trustees, as well as a digital version of brand guidelines were produced to set out a consistent approach to all communications, as well as giving flexibility for future productions. The guidelines also showcased the amazing achievements of the charity via an illustrated brand story, which included their values, aims and statistics.

Charity Fundraising Packs.

It is important that the charity makes raising funds as easy as possible – as well as being economical yet enthusiastic with the fund raising materials sent out. We created a booklet encouraging ideas to help fund raising – as well as clear functioning forms for the admin side of promoting your event.

Positive results.

The rebrand not only sparked a huge influx of energy and participation, but allowed the trustees to have a solid set of guidelines in which to easily produce more materials, as well as easily explain their core values through key messaging and a variety of communications. The fundraising guide quickly encouraged people to have fun for a good cause and helped generate much needed funds for the charity.
