One Horton Heath

A new development that will provide 2,500 homes, a vibrant local centre, school and sports, and a host of connected spaces and informal areas for wildlife to thrive. The brand and assets were evolved to deliver in two stages - investment and marketing.

A multi-purpose brand.

A new development with a focus on people, infrastructure and the environment, required some brand evolvement on the logo, to ensure the brand assets functions across multiple purposes. Stage one was to generate investor interest in the plans, with a second stage consideration of the brand moving into a more commercial focus. Along side the brand strategy, and guidelines, a new website was developed, with a user friendly interactive map, and key elements were developed for further communications for future stages.

Encouraging interest.

The initial stage was to develop the basic brand to create a more accessible, inspirational feel that would engage interest and communicate the values of the project. A more colourful palette system was created to not only bring vibrancy to its offering, but as a helpful key system to the detailed plans and interactive map. A key element of the brand was to demonstrate the values of the final development within an interesting way before building had began. Illustrations were created to show the values in action for the projects purpose.

A more commercial focus.

The brand was developed to move seamlessly from the investment stage, into a more refined strategy for the commercial aspect once the development was complete. Using more restrained use of colour, type and the other brand elements, a more sophisticated brand that still communicated the overall values was developed.

Results.

A vibrant new brand with bags of potential that allow for various strategies to be put in place. The development now has the tools to engage people with their values, purpose and functional aspects of the project.
